Lack of Communication:

Teenagers don't realize the negative impact technology has on young adults. Instead of using their voice to express an opinion, emotion, or event- they are finding themselves side by side messaging one another. Their excuse is that they are young, but as this issue reoccurs they come to grips with the fact that a screen is controlling their life.

Often times their cellular device holds them back from meeting new people and enjoying new experiences. You could ask any adult that you ever encounter how often they would reject an option, person, or event because they were worried if the place would have WiFi or not. 9/10 times they would respond with "Never".

Its not always negative!

Other times social media can be used to bring people together rather than make others distant from one another!

The teenage mind as we know it, has a very obscure thinking process. Maybe full of things like: girls, boys, love, sports, school, insecurities, etc. Although the thing we all forget to put into account is why all these emotions become bundled up inside your frontal lobe, and where are these vast decisions are coming from? Teenagers are constantly being stereo-typed. Most times as "poor decision makers" with a lack of respect. Of course teens often engage themselves in unruly behavior!

People have come to the conclusion that most teens have a higher "value of reward". Which means that as a young women or man you dont consider the same possibilities as an adult would. Hence the reason why most young adults dont think first about their repercussions before taking action.

There is a chemical in the brain called Dopamine.
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that is suppose to
trigger the reward aspect of the brain. Oxytocin is
another, a chemical that is also matched to the
reward ideal of a teenagers brain. Which also
leads people to assume that kids are more sensitive
than adults in the reward triggering chemicals.

Although, findings seem to show that puberty is starting to hit kids at an earlier and earlier age. As societies technology continues to advance; a result in an energy insufficiency and children eat more and move less.
